School Hours

The official school hours are 9.00 a.m. – 1.40 p.m. for Junior Infants.

School hours are 9.00 a.m. - 2.40 p.m. for all other children.

Children should be ready for the start of formal lessons at 9.10 a.m.

Junior Infants should be collected from their external classroom door at the end of their school day.

 

Break & Lunchtime

The children have two breaks during the day.  There is a short break at 10.30 a.m. and a longer one at 12.30 p.m.  Children are allowed to eat and drink at both breaks.  We do not allow fizzy drinks, sweets, biscuits or crisps.  A small treat may be brought on Friday.  Healthy eating habits are important for the children and will help them to concentrate and learn more effectively.
